Circle BMW Sponsors Ray of Hope Gala
On April 27, 2007 at Branches , West Long
Branch, Catholic Charities "Ray of Hope" Gala
celebrates its tenth year. Circle BMW led the way as one of the gala's first top
level sponsors. Now others have joined in to support one of Monmouth County's most needed human service
endeavors.
"Circle BMW was our first major sponsor ten years ago. Tom DeFelice's leadership brought in other sponsors and has been critical to the success of our annual gala, which raised over $100,000 for Catholic Charities last year," said Bob Hodnett, Associate Service Area Director. Funds from the gala are directed to those programs in Monmouth County where financial need is the highest. Last year funds supported Project Free, a substance abuse treatment program; Beacon House, a transitional Living Program for older children who are transitioning out of Foster Care; and PEAK - Programs for Exceptionally Able Kids, an after school and summer treatment program for children experiencing behavioral challenges - particularly those affected by Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder or Asperger's Syndrome. This year's Platinum Level Sponsors are Circle BMW, Eatontown; Howley Financial Group, Rumson; The Durso Financial Group at Wachovia Securities, Red Bank; and Gibbons, Del Deo, Dolan, Griffinger & Vecchione Law Firm , Newark; and Gold Level Sponsor to date is Sovereign Bank . Catholic Charities' Disaster Recovery Program was also among the first responders to national disasters like Hurricane Katrina. They're out there helping those most in need regardless of their religious affiliation," said DeFelice. The mission of Catholic Charities is to reduce poverty, support families and empower communities. Catholic Charities programs strive to improve quality of life for all neighbors in distress with both immediate and/or long term programs. The Catholic Charities agencies strengthen their communities by empowering the people within them. They help families and individuals overcome tragedy, poverty, and other life challenges. Gala Tickets are $125 per person. For Gala & Super 50/50 Raffle Tickets call 732.747.9660 ext. 116.
