2007 BMW X5 DVD Entertainment System

Driving your new 2007 BMW X5 with a car filled with kids just got easier with the Integrated DVD Entertainment System. The DVD Entertainment System includes a collapsible LCD screen so it folds neatly out of the way when not in use. The DVD package comes standard with a remote control (shown above) and two comfortable wireless headphones. The DVD entertainment system screen faces your guests seated in the rear seat; the screen is sharp and clear at most angles. The DVD system accepts DVD, CD auxiliary inputs via standard RCA jacks so the LCD screen can be used for video playback on an external device.

The 2007 X5 DVD System wireless headphones are battery operated so there are no wires to tangle up your guests. The BMW wireless headphones are comfortable; they are a bit smaller than traditional headphones. The headphones compare in size to the Bose QC3 noise canceling headphones.

In the photo above, you can see that the BMW DVD Entertainment System can also play music CD's. This gives the rear passengers the ability to listen to their own music while the driver plays music on the front speaker system. The sound quality through the wireless the headphone is fantastic. Amazingly, the sound from the DVD system stays contained in the headphones and the driver is not disturbed which is a plus when the driver needs to concentrate on the road.

The 2007 BMW X5 DVD Entertainment system can also play photo CD's so you can have a portable family reunion slideshow playing in the car. The system's wireless remote control easily navigates the audio/video menu system. If you lose the remote control the system becomes unmanageable so make sure you tuck it away in the rear seat pockets when you leave the car.
