Unexpected situations are a part of life. But if something comes up while you’re on the road – you’re
in an accident, you’re lost, you lock your keys in the car – there’s the BMW Assist Safety Plan, our
location based safety services.
Beginning with 2007 models that are equipped with the BMW Assist™* and Bluetooth® system, a four-year, unlimited mileage subscription to the BMW Assist Safety Plan is included as part of BMW Ultimate Service™, at no additional charge. To access BMW Assist, all you have to do is push a button from within your car and you’ll be immediately connected to a trained response specialist at the BMW Assist Response Center. If you’re in a serious accident, the system will respond to crash and airbag sensors, initiate a call to the BMW Assist Response Center and transmit your location via GPS data. You can then speak to a response specialist to coordinate the dispatch of emergency personnel or, in the event you are unable to respond, emergency personnel will be sent for you. Our response specialists can also help with remote door unlocking, stolen vehicle recovery, Roadside Assistance dispatch, personal emergencies, and customer service questions. The BMW Assist™ Safety Plan is valued at $199 a year. But as part of BMW Ultimate Service™, this added layer of safety and peace of mind is yours at no charge for four years on all equipped 2007 models.
