BMW Portable Navigation System

The BMW Portable Navigation System is based on the Garmin nüvi 360. The BMW Portable Navigation System comes preloaded with highly detailed City Navigator maps containing detailed road maps throughout the entire United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. The system also features a complete BMW Center database as well as nearly six million points of interest, including hotels, restaurants, gas stations, ATMs, and attractions. The map data is provided by NAVTEQ™, a world leader in premium-quality mapping. Offering advanced navigation features such as 2D and 3D map perspectives, turn by turn directions with voice prompts and automatic, alternative route calculations in the event of a missed turn, the system ensures that drivers will stay on course. What's more, its 3.5 inch touchscreen display allows users to literally tap their way through menus and screens, making for arguably the most intuitive and user friendly operation on the road today. Navigation is just the beginning. Moreover, we have also made the installation kits available as a separate part to give existing Garmin nüvi 350 or 360 owners the ability to custom fit their current system into their BMW E90, E91, E92, or E93 vehicles.
