Circle BMW Donates Five Thousand Dollars to the

Monmouth County SPCA

-Community support helped achieve fundraising goal and donation to MCSPCA-

EATONTOWN, N.J. (September 1, 2016) - Circle BMW, the region's only independently owned and operated BMW dealership, donated $5,000 to the Monmouth County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MCSPCA). The donation was the end result of, Drive For A Cause, a public awareness and fundraising campaign dedicated to the MCSPCA. In July, Circle BMW pledged to donate $25 to the MCSPCA for every test drive taken at the dealership through August 19, 2016. Nearly 200 people came into Circle BMW to take a test drive in support of the MCSPCA.

MCSPCA Executive Director, Ross Licitra, said, "We are thrilled that so many people came out and participated in Circle BMW's test drive campaign to show their support of the MCSPCA." He added, "The MCSPCA has seen an increase in rescue cases, not only from Monmouth County, but as far away as South Korea and California. We rely solely on private funding; therefore, donations such as Circle BMW's will go a long way in providing the proper care to hundreds of homeless animals."

Earlier this year, BMW of North America launched a nationwide effort to unify all their dealers behind the message of, "Take a Test Drive, Make A Difference." Local BMW Centers were given a choice to join the national effort in support of Team U.S.A. or select a local organization. Circle BMW choose to focus locally and selected the MCSPCA as the beneficiary of their Drive For A Cause campaign.

"We visited the MCSPCA, toured the facility and saw first-hand the tremendous effort that it takes to care for these displaced animals and find them safe, loving homes," explained Tom DeFelice. "I have great admiration for the dedicated staff at the MCSPCA as they work very hard to ensure these animals receive the proper care and attention," he added.

Circle BMW Announces Campaign to Benefit the

Monmouth County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals

-Drive for a Cause at Circle BMW and $25 per test drive will benefit the MCSPCA-

EATONTOWN, N.J. (July 11, 2016)Circle BMW, the region's premier BMW dealership, today announced the launch of a public awareness and fundraising campaign to benefit the Monmouth County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MCSPCA). For every registered test drive taken at Circle BMW until August 19, 2016, $25 will be donated to the MCSPCA. The goal is 200 test drives totaling a donation of $5,000.

Circle BMW's Drive for a Cause campaign is in conjunction with BMW of North America's national effort designed to unify all dealers behind the message of, "Take a Test Drive, Make A Difference." On a national level, Team U.S.A. will benefit from a donation from BMW of North America. Local BMW Centers were given a choice to join the national effort or select a local organization.

Circle BMW President, Tom DeFelice, said, "There was never a doubt that we wanted to impact our local community and after we heard about the recent rescue of almost 300 dogs from a house in Howell, we knew the MCSPCA needed our assistance."

Director of Development for the MCSPCA, Barbara Lovell-Napoli, said, "We were delighted to learn of Circle BMW's test drive fundraiser and welcome their support. The recent influx of animals, many of whom are expecting puppies in the coming weeks, have stretched our resources very thin." She added, "The MCSPCA relies entirely on private donations like Circle BMW's to fund the many programs we provide."

Circle BMW Selects The Captain James M. Gurbisz Foundation as their Memorial Day Sales Event Charitable Recipient

-Children in Eatontown will benefit from Circle BMW's donation.-

EATONTOWN, N.J. (May 13, 2016) - As many automotive dealerships remain open for sales on Memorial Day, Circle BMW, the region's premier BMW dealership, elects to close its doors on this distinctive holiday in honor of the men and women who have served in the United States Military and fallen for our country. In addition to closing his business, Circle BMW Founder and President, Tom DeFelice, selects a military-related charitable organization and makes a donation for every vehicle sold during the Memorial Day holiday weekend.

A long-time supporter of the U.S. Military and its veterans, DeFelice selected The Captain James M. Gurbisz Foundation, based in Eatontown, as the 2016 benefactor of this year's charitable contribution. Circle BMW will make a donation of $50 to the James M. Gurbisz Foundation for every vehicle they sell on Saturday, May 28th and Tuesday, May 31st.

In the past, Circle BMW has made contributions to numerous military-related non-profits such as Wounded Warrior Project®, Hope for the Warriors®, Philip K. Dorn Detachment, Brendan Marrocco Road to Recovery Trust, Vietnam Veterans Memorial Foundation and The Lt. Dennis W. Zilinski II Memorial Fund.

"Honoring present and past members of our military, and their families, must always remain a priority as these men and women are serving to ensure our safety and freedom," said DeFelice. "This year, The James M. Gurbisz Foundation will be the recipient of our Memorial Day donation. This is particularly sentimental because James grew up in Eatontown and his parents still reside here," added DeFelice.

James Gurbisz graduated from Monmouth Regional High School. He was the captain of their football team, co-captain of the baseball team and student council president in his senior year. A 2002 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Gurbisz rose to the rank of Captain.  While serving his country in Iraq, Captain Gurbisz was killed by a roadside bomb on November 4, 2005.

The James M. Gurbisz Foundation was established in 2006 by Gurbisz's parents, Kenneth and Helen, both educators, who identified a need to assist at-risk middle school children in Eatontown. The goal of the Foundation is to show children that there are alternatives to drugs and gangs. In conjunction with Summer Program for Eatontown Area Kids (SPEAK), the Foundation sponsors an annual trip to a West Point football game, kayaking at Sandy Hook, trips to Hurricane Harbor at Great Adventure, Lakewood Blue Claws games and provides scholarships to sports and adventure camps.  Each year, two boys and two girls attend the American Legion Boy's State and Girl's State respectively and two graduating seniors from Monmouth Regional High School are awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the Foundation. Since the Foundation's inception, more than 300 children have participated in these programs.

THE NEXT 100 YEARS: BMW Group Vision Vehicles bring future mobility to life today

Munich. 2016 sees the BMW Group celebrate its centenary under the motto THE NEXT 100 YEARS. Throughout its history, the company's image has been defined by a future focus and pioneering action - all made possible by its extraordinary team of employees, who share a fascination for mobility which is integral to all our lives.

"At the BMW Group, we are always on a quest for the best solution. It's part of our DNA," said Harald Krüger, Chairman of the Board of Management of BMW AG, at the Centenary Event in Munich on Monday. "It's also the spirit of our collaborations, a recurring theme that permeates our corporate and leadership culture."

Three qualities in particular set the BMW Group apart: the capacity to learn and adapt, technological innovation, and a sense of responsibility toward society. "We have demonstrated on many occasions throughout our history that we are capable of learning fast and taking bold steps," Krüger said.

Against this background, the BMW Group's centenary celebrations are set to focus primarily on what lies ahead and explore how individual mobility might develop over the coming decades.

To answer this question, the BMW Group has generated a futuristic scenario with a clear vision: premium mobility by the BMW Group will be completely effortless, comprehensively available and tailored to every customer's individual preferences. At the moment, the world is on the verge of realising automated driving; in the not-too-distant future the majority of cars will probably be completely self-driving and travel the streets of cities inhabited by far more people than today.

In the future, one thing will be in ever shorter supply: time. But connectivity will become increasingly commonplace, and technologies will learn to learn from people. "Future mobility will connect every area of people's lives. And that's where we see new opportunities for premium mobility," Krüger added.

The BMW Group has now made its vision for the future a reality - with the BMW VISION NEXT 100. This vehicle combines coupé-type sportiness with the dynamic elegance of a sedan - but rather than being an anonymous transport machine, it is a highly customised vehicle that is perfectly tailored to suit the driver's changing needs.

Driver-vehicle interactions are managed by Alive Geometry; Boost and Ease modes offer a choice of driver-controlled or vehicle-controlled operations, and the interior of the vehicle changes to suit the mode of travel. In Boost, the entire vehicle focuses on the driver, offering the support needed to maximise the driving experience - for instance by indicating the ideal driving line, steering point and speed. Ease mode sees the interior transform: the steering wheel and centre console retract; the headrests turn to the side, and the seats and door trim merge to form a single unit so that the driver and front-seat passenger can turn towards each other.

"If, as a designer, you are able to imagine something, there's a good chance it could one day become reality," said Adrian van Hooydonk, Head of BMW Group Design. "So our objective with the BMW VISION NEXT 100 was to develop a future scenario that people would engage with."

The BMW Vision Vehicle will make its world debut at the Centenary Event in the Munich Olympic Hall on 7 March 2016 - exactly one hundred years after the company that is now known as BMW AG was first entered into the commercial register. About 2,000 guests from industry, politics, research, society and the media will be present, as will selected dealers, suppliers and employees. A multi-media experience will guide them through the history of the company to this latest interpretation of tomorrow's premium mobility, culminating in the unveiling of the Vision Vehicle.

The success of the BMW Group would not be possible without the commitment of more than 122,000 employees in 140 countries around the world. Almost all of them will be able to follow the Centenary Event in the Olympic Hall live as part of the activities happening at their site. In many markets, the live-stream will be accompanied by local centenary celebrations, and one particular highlight in Munich will be the live broadcast at the Allianz Arena football stadium, for more than 30,000 employees based in and around the Munich site.

After its world debut, the BMW VISION NEXT 100 will go on a symbolic World Tour entitled "Iconic Impulses." stopping in China, the UK and the USA. After its Asian premiere in Beijing, it will travel to London, where the Vision Vehicles of the BMW Group's British brands - MINI and Rolls-Royce - will be unveiled. Its last port of call will be Los Angeles, USA, where BMW Motorrad will add its Vision Vehicle to the collection to complete the quartet of brands.

Key content from "Iconic Impulses." will also be on show in Munich as a permanent exhibition. The Future Exhibition in the 'double cone' structure of the BMW Welt will open to the public in spring. A further exhibition will be mounted by the BMW Museum, where a temporary centenary display entitled "100 Masterpieces" will present milestones in the history of the BMW Group. It will be open to the public from 10 March onwards.

From 9-11 September 2016, the BMW Festival - THE NEXT 100 YEARS will welcome fans from all over the world. It will take place in the Munich Olympic Park, including the Olympic Stadium and Hall. The BMW Museum and BMW Welt will also be involved, as will the entire area around the iconic 'four-cylinder' headquarters building.

To round off the centenary year, there will be a special publication consisting of 13 volumes. This will outline the history of the company and discuss key future topics. The books will contain a mix of essays, reports, studies and expert interviews. They will reflect the diversity of the BMW Group and its BMW, MINI, Rolls-Royce and BMW Motorrad brands.

To mark its centenary, the BMW Group is also enhancing its commitment to social responsibility. The capital of its foundation, BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt, will be increased by €50 million to a total of €100 million. In addition, annual donations will be made to support project work. In 2016 this financing will amount to another €5 million. Further financing will be provided by major shareholders Stefan Quandt and Susanne Klatten, who will support project work with an additional €30 million.

The BMW Group

With its three brands BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce, the BMW Group is the world's leading premium manufacturer of automobiles and motorcycles and also provides premium financial and mobility services. As a global company, the BMW Group operates 30 production and assembly facilities in 14 countries and has a global sales network in more than 140 countries.

In 2015, the BMW Group sold approximately 2.247 million cars and nearly 137,000 motorcycles worldwide. The profit before tax for the financial year 2014 was approximately € 8.71 billion on revenues amounting to € 80.40 billion. As of 31 December 2014, the BMW Group had a workforce of 116,324 employees.

The success of the BMW Group has always been based on long-term thinking and responsible action. The company has therefore established ecological and social sustainability throughout the value chain, comprehensive product responsibility and a clear commitment to conserving resources as an integral part of its strategy.

Circle BMW Raises $750 for Zilinski Memorial Fund

Memorial Day Event Helps Wounded Warriors

Eatontown, NJ (Thursday, June 25, 2015) - The founders of the Lt. Dennis W. Zilinski II Memorial Fund were all smiles at Circle BMW in Eatontown as Owner Thomas DeFelice, Jr., presented the organization with a check for $750 resulting from the dealership's Memorial Day fundraiser.

The fund was created and founded in 2006 in order to honor local resident 1st Lt. Dennis W. Zilinski II, United States Army, who was killed in action while deployed in Iraq on November 19, 2005. Zilinski was a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, which is also DeFelice's alma mater.

"I graduated from CBA in 1970," said DeFelice.  "That's where I heard about the Zilinski Fund and all the wonderful things it does for our wounded warriors."

He noted that Circle BMW honors a different veterans charity each year during Memorial Day, but his shared connection with the late Lt. Zilinski made this year's effort very special.

"We were very honored to be the chosen recipients of this year's Memorial Day fundraiser," said the fund's Co-Founder Marion Zilinski, mother of Lt. Zilinski.  "We also salute Circle BMW as being one of the few dealerships to close on Memorial Day?they put honoring our military ahead of profits, and that's a rare thing these days.

"We wish more dealerships would follow their example and focus on the men and women who serve our country."

The Fund is all volunteer, so 100 percent of the proceeds will go toward helping veterans.
